As the ultimate specialists in displaying Grob109b's around the world we are proud to support Aerobility with their Project Able initiative.

We look forward to creating some exciting projects in support

Project Able is a charitable endeavour which is returning a number of Grob109b's retired training and recreational aircraft to flight.

Grob 109b motor gliders used to train thousands of Air Cadets are being modernised and getting a new lease of life.

A number of the aircraft are being adapted to enable disabled people to fly them, as part of Aerobility’s continued development.

Aerobility is a charity that, through exposure to aviation, seeks to improve the lives of people with all kinds of disabilities including physical impairments, learning difficulties, mental health conditions & sensory impairments Aerobility has acquired the decommissioned Vigilant Motor Glider fleet from the UK Ministry of Defence.

This project will allow Aerobility to expand its operation and enhance about 1,600 more lives every year from its headquarters at Blackbushe Airport in Hampshire and Tatenhill in Staffordshire, as well as supporting expansion to additional locations throughout the UK.

The aircraft which aren’t used by Aerobility themselves will be refurbished and sold to generate revenue for the charity, in order to pay for progressive refurbishments and the ongoing running costs of their operational aircraft.

270,000 Spectators - Spain

aeroSPARX this summer were able to display at the incredible Aeroeo Festival in Gijon, Spain.

One of our favourite locations on the beautiful north coast of Spain within the Gijon bay. An ideal location for our aeroSPARX display and very appropriate.

The team’s display was described as one of the most unique aspects of the festival as the pilots performed their daring manoeuvres in front of thousands of onlookers. This audience had not seen anything like this before they where blown away with spectacular smoke show and our famous night time pyrotechnics and LED light show.

“I think the most important thing with this display is the team itself, the professionalism, working to bring all the elements and stakeholders together with unique skills and talent to create something that was a world first.“The hours of training and preparation paid off, the very first display practice session unfolded exactly as we had imagined. It was a very comfortable feeling knowing there were no surprises - everything was exactly as planned.”
